ColorGATE is an established software provider in a global niche market. Our products are used by companies worldwide to efficiently control complex production processes. We currently sell license-based software, which we would like to expand to include a cloud-based SaaS solution in the next few years. For this we are looking for you as the first technical building block of this project!

Your Mission

  • Responsibility for the architecture and development of a new cloud-based SaaS solution
  • Design and build a scalable, cloud-native application from scratch
  • Close collaboration with product management and stakeholders to define the software architecture
  • Selection of modern technologies and best practices for backend, frontend and cloud infrastructure
  • Technical leadership of a growing cloud development team

You bring that

  • Several years of experience as a full stack developer with focus on cloud architecture
  • Confident handling of modern cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Sound knowledge of a modern programming language (e.g. JavaScript)
  • Experience with microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Knowledge of modern frontend technologies (e.g. React, Angular)
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps and agile software development
  • Motivation to take responsibility and build a cloud architecture from scratch
  • Ability to technically lead a team or potential to develop into this role
